Global agenda6/10/2023 ![]() Normally convened in Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s great energy capitals, this year’s forum is entirely virtual. Its publication coincides with the fifth annual Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum. It is in this context that the Atlantic Council releases the inaugural edition of The Global Energy Agenda, a publication intended to set the stage of the energy debate for the year ahead. We are also hearing from an increasing number of government officials, not least of which from the incoming Biden administration, that 2021 could be the year that global leaders get more serious about addressing climate change.
